An unusual trait among vintage reggae 45's are the presence of blank labels. Here we have a blank labeled split single featuring the Maytones on the A-side and an instrumental performed by their backing band, the G.G. All Stars on the flip. The Maytones formed in 1965 and recorded frequently for Alvin 'G.G.' Ranglin's 'G.G.' label. Here is an excellent online resource about the Maytones complete with an interview with their members.
